Ah! My Goddess Flights of Fancy Vol 1: Everyone Has Wings By Andromeda One year later everything seems to be going just fine with Keiichi and Belldandy. Hades has been sealed and the Lord of Terror has been taken care of. Things couldn’t be better, right? Not quite. It seems that some of Yggdrasil’s systems were unrepairable and thus, Keiichi’s contract is gone, deleted and Belldandy is to return to attend to her duties in heaven. It’s really a simple problem to solve. All he has to do is re-enter his wish. But for Keiichi, that’s not really a simple thing to do. The computer can’t recognize his response. But that’s not the only problem. He didn’t say the wish correctly and Belldandy can’t help him. Of course, this isn’t the only hurtle the two of them will face as they pursue this shy romance. Christmas is here and Keiichi doesn’t have enough money to buy Belldandy a particular gift without taking on extra jobs while Belldandy secretly makes one for him. When Sayoko comes into the picture though, she complicates things a bit for the two of them. Ah! My Goddess Flights of Fancy is a continuation of a cute and beautiful romance full of comedic happenings. The emotions conveyed will pull at the heartstrings of all those romantics out there. There’s also nothing like seeing the underdog getting what he wants in life, even if he has to put up with the likes of Skuld, Urd, Sayoko and the guys at school. But without them, it wouldn’t be much of a comedy, now would it. I also recommend this title for those who like light hearted comedies. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the first volume of the second season. I haven’t watched the first season yet, but I now want to. For those of you who haven’t seen it, don’t worry, the story so far doesn’t really hinge on watching the first season and if you have some inkling of what Ah! My Goddess is about you won’t be lost.
