Hmm pretty interesting. Kinda funny how Hollywood never learns how to do things right, despite their over a half a century head start, while the Anime industry is already outselling them.

That was a neat (but VERY long) article. That otaku couldn't have been too bright going to ADV's CEO's house and demanding a better ending (though I can't say as I blame him). I'd hate to see how much profit either Anime or Manga company actually get. I wager it'd make anyone's head swim.

My favorite part: "Their ethos is to get the product out to the right people--whether it's on a DVD or over a mobile phone or downloadable--and see what happens. If it succeeds, milk it; if not, try something different." Let's just hope they don't turn into an RIAA or MPAA.
