April Meetup Any volunteers? Remember, some of us have spring break, which is the first week of April.. well, for me anyway, and I plan to be in Florida.

Anyway, I'll take hosting it if there isn't anyone who had intentions of doing so in the first place. They're more than welcome to take the spot if they want it.
As for setting a day if anyone doesn't have any plans that will clash I randomly think I like the 21st(fri) or the 22nd (sat). Same bat time as all the meetings and same bat place as the meeting was in Jan! Goodies and DDR to be provided - anime...someone else'll have to cover. btw, I'll need someone to catch me up on what ever I miss out on (if I miss out on it) in the March meeting!

The Suncoast that was closing in Columbia had a lot of good box sets that were 50% off so I bought three. I couldn't help myself at those prices. If I had stayed any longer I may have ended up with a lot more.
Anyway, they are 08th Mobile Suit Team, The 2nd season of Magic Knight Rayearth, and Angelic Layer. If anyone wants to see any of that at the meetup let me know.

I know what you mean. Last weekend i went to the one in Haywood mall, and i had to control myself. The bad thing is that i don't know when they are planning to close down for good. And the staff doesnt want to say when. And anime is expensive, so Box sets are out of the question when i'm trying to get my fix, so i have to limit myself to one DVD per weekend. So i hope they keep it open for a good while.

sorry our home system doesn't have vga connections. If you can burn the series to DVD I'll even give you the blank DVDs to burn it to...Just let me know what you want to do and I'll help! Oh also I now have totoro on DVD so you can borrow the dvd instead of having to deal with the vhs version
Btw everyone! I bought Howl's Moving Castle. Its really good and if enough people haven't seen it or are willing to see it again I'd like to maybe try and play it as well but its a group decision!

No problem I am sure it has a svideo input I can get to so I'll just bring the laptop again. Way easier than trying to burn a DVD
