They are not that big, and just take place in various people's houses. While I've been coming to the meetings I think the largest I've been to was a seven person in Columbia, and five in Spartanburg/Greenville.
As for what anime to bring, well you don't need to bring anything unless you have something you would like everyone to see. Although that doesn't mean we'll get around to watching it.

It's good to know there are other anime fans in this town. So are these meetings big? Who can come? Do you need any source material? I have a MASSIVE collection of fansubs and whatnot.

No, the meetings aren't big, they are cozy! But we'd like to get bigger. Anyone can come. We aren't picky people, but we will assimilate you... we are Borg! err.. hehe. We love massive collections! We usually watch on particular anime series, like two eps or so, then we go through some titles, toss out some ideas, then throw in something else that has peaked our interst. So only one title is really planned. Currently we are in the middle of Gantz.

Cool! Gantz is one of those I ran across back in 04 when it first came out, but I never got past the first couple of eps in fansub. Will be worth another look-see.

Yeah, those cliffhangers are bad. It's everything we can do to hold off another episode (after waching four) just to try and end up not having a cliffhanger.

I just want to make sure that someone is bringing the hook ups. I don't have my cable and my working laptop doesn't even have a place for connecting anyway :P
As for taking up time we could always "go bowling" (Wii Sports) lol of course LA shows sounds like good torture too.
