Charleston Needs its Own Club

Yeah, I am quite tall...but I love Yugioh, and it's one of my favorite characters, and believe it or not, I just made it on a whim one day. I had practically NO sewing experiance, had never made anything out of foam, and was still fairly new to prop making, and I put that entire costume together in less than a week. I even had violet contacts to go along with it because I hate for a costume to be "half done". I AM big, but, that's never really put anyone off. I have gotten a LOT of praise for my Yugi costume, but I retired it last year. :)

Oh wow! The colored contacts must look awesome! I want some that color! But I have green lizard looking ones. ^_^ I think it was an awesome costume. And what a coincidence that it was you that I saw at Jacon all those years ago!

Hehe I get people saying that to me all the time "You were that tall-ass Yugioh guy? I don't even LIKE the show, but I gotta give you serious props on that costume! Can I get a picture??" lol it's funny. :) I made it just to have fun, but a lot of people really liked it. Every time I would wear it after that I would add little things to it to make it a little different each time. Like always updating it and stuff

lol that guy is ME. :p and I was at Jacon a couple of years ago. lol That suddenly doesn't make me feel as bad that I've wanted to go as Dark Magician Girl for the last few years. X3 Anytime I told that to someone, they'd look at me funny cuz well...it's Yugioh. XD But seriously, either her or Injection Fairy Lily. Nothing like carrying a big ass surrenge to make people want to run and scream in the other direction.

Heh, i too would love to see something get put together. While i am not actually *IN* charleston, moncks corner is very close. :D

I agree, I'm tired of being a closet anime lover because no one I know except my best friend is into anime. I hope this club takes off soon.

See there, you would have three people right there if you talk your friend into it and get together with Jerry, even if it's to meet at something like the movies or Barnes and Noble or a Japanese eatery to just meet each other.

That would be nice, I know Krys would be eager to go with us. But fact is we are young (me 13 her 14) and my mom would have to check it out. I also would like to know how old Jerry is.

D'oh. Sorry for not being around guys, but somehow my cookies were cleared, so it was not auto loggin me on. And i usually drive by check the forums i post on, so since it wasn't highlighting the new posts, i though everryone was just being quiet! I'll check more carefully from now on. But i am still around. ^-^

Nothing yet. At least that i know of.

Well, nothing is solid yet. But that's because nobody has stuck around long enough to set something up, but i suggest that you'd just stick around, and wait till either those people start posting again, or until some new people come around.

Or just do what I did and say hey, \"let's get together on this day at this time at this loaction.\" If they come, they come, if they don't they don't. That's how I got things started with these guys.
