Computer Problems
What would make a computer just randomly restart itself? I can understand my old one doing it because of the RAM and memory being low because of it's age and having never been upgraded, but not my new one. The new one doesn't restart as much and hasn't since yesterday morning, that I know of.

Windows Update

Can't on the new computer. I have to get a new copy of windows. The one that came with the computer is glitched.

I mean if automatic updates are on, then Windows Update will restart the computer on you after it has critical updates.

Oh no, those were turned off when I got the computer. This is actually the replacement computer because the first one did that. As soon as I updated, BLAME, constant restarting loop. Did it with the second one, so I did the wipe and turned them off before getting online. Had to completely get rid of McAfee because when it updated, it did the same thing. Once I wiped it off the computer and downloaded the new version of it, never had a problem with it since.
