I don't know whether to say. "Tard, I wasn't talking about you." or "Who do you think?" or "Do you really want to know?" or "Can you guess?" It's just one of those nights... Hehehe. Well, maybe i should counter with these: "Idiot you should think before you reply" or "Do you even know the definition of trolling" or "It doesn take a genius to know who you're directing that to". Also, if asking sincere questions makes me a Troll. Then fine, go ahead, call me a troll.

Andromeda- 03-04-2006

.... I wasn't calling you a Troll... geez. But I do think you like to push buttons.

Zero0079- 03-04-2006

Well, sorry for making it seem that way. That wasn't my intention. But, i think we should really get back on the subject.

Andromeda- 03-05-2006

Hmm.. I suppose so. ^_^

Hello all, This is basically for those who aren't on our forums or email lists. We have a Tshirt Dealer who will be doing shirt for us this year at $15 each. They are an ash color and good quality shirt--not the thin kind. They are printed on front and back and I have two links where you can look at them. What I'm doing now for the dealer is just getting a survey of who would be interested in getting one, and the sizes need so he has the proper proportions. Obviously if we need 20 2X's we need to let him know so we won't have 20 smalls instead. The guy is doing us a favor by doing them so we want to eliminate as much waste as we can. Looks like there will only be about 100 printed unless we have alot more asked for. What I need is if you guys could pass this info to your groups and just get a count for me X number of smalls, X number of 3X's etc. Just email me the info back. If they have already posted on either the forums or Yahoo groups, I don't need their numbers again. No obligation to buy, but it they think they might want one, we want their size. I think the Stargate groups will especially like them. Richard Spake did the back artwork for us. (I think the cat is a little scary, but then again, I'm a girl <lol>) We also have an artist designing a special badge for us. I've seen the proof and it's a very nice pen and ink piece, sort of a gargoyle type panther. Alot of work to be sure. I believe the pre-registered badges will be the only ones to be DragonCon size and will be numbered so only Pre-registered people will get them and the rest will be distroyed making them more collectable. The artist will be at the con to sign the badges for you and give you the opportunity to see some of his other artwork. http://www.spazchicken.com/Proofs/concaro06_tshirt_front.jpg http://www.spazchicken.com/Proofs/concaro06_tshirt_back.jpg thanks a bunch, Janet For those of you going, who want a tshirt, let me know and I will email Janet with the size you want. You don't have to pay for it now, they just need a good gestimate to the sizes they need to order.

Hey guys I am Ron and I have been running ConCarolinas for the past 4 years. I am the Con Chair this year and want to thank you for your strong interest in CC. I'll tell you upfront that I am only a casual fan of anime... I am mostly a fan of the sci-fi end of it. So I can not speak directly to the types of anime that would make it at CC. However, I do want to say that CC is a blank slate for many fans groups like you and you can make it what you want if you work with us. I am totoally open to making CC have a strong anime following. We've had enough interest in and around Charlotte that I can easily see our anime aspect growing, so I welcome it. If you start it with a sci-fi focus and maybe in time we can grow beyond that. This year, we have one video room, which has to share between the anime, regular sci-fi movies and fan films. Carol Cowles is our video room director. The best place to cotnact her is on our forums by posting with "Video Room" as the topic subject line. However, you are welcome to join other anime groups to form your own video room in a hotel room, and I would suggest getting a room on the third floor because that's the same level as the con. This aspect of our con is just starting out. Give it time and support and we will dedicate more time and space for it. I am willing to work with you if you are with me. I hope you do find CC to your likign and let me know how I can make it more to your liking. Ron

I should also note that we have Kara Edwards, another anime voice actor and local Charlotte radio personality. Ron

I would recommend showing Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars as it's heavy on Sci-Fi. After all it mostly takes place in space. Be aware though that it is a slow moving anime and may bore people, but it has a pretty nice story. Another Sci-Fi oriented anime would be Martian Successor Nadesico or Evangelion (unless you show the last two episodes). Oh, and for my final recommendation. Stellvia. That had to be one of the best Sci-Fi anime's I've ever watched.

How about Galaxy railways. I know, i know, some people don't like the series. However, it does seem to fit the bill here.

Andromeda- 03-10-2006

We're not looking for snoozers, and frankly, Galaxy Railways snoozed me. I'm not even sure what the other person has made as far as suggestions or how much time we've been allotted.

Andromeda- 05-13-2006

Well, if anyone wants to come, we have a room and it's only me and Bunny-chan right now.

Tsunade-Hime- 05-22-2006

I'm only planning on going down to Charlotte for Friday only. Guess I'll see you all then. What panels will you be hosting on Friday?

Andromeda- 05-23-2006

the AMVs. Which reminds me, I need to email Snackpants to see if he mailed that AMV disc yet or not.
