Death Note II: The Last Name
Ok, so THIS WEEK Death Note II: The Last Name is coming to about 400 theaters in the USA. It's showing Wednesday October 15th, and Thursday October 16th. I know of one theater in Greenville that's playing it and i plan to take a friend who has no idea what she's in for w/ me. Poor non-otaku. ^_^ *Actually i'm lending her the first movie to watch this week.* I don't know if anybody else is interested, but I thought i'd just let you know!

How was the movie?

It was great! My non-otaku friend really enjoyed it and now is curious about the wonders of anime... *do i smell a convert?!* We arrived slightly late, so I didn't get a chance to scope out the otakus there. However, most were teenagers who giggled at "bad words"... 0_o I generally don't like dubbing, but reading subtitles would be hard on a giant screen. After the movie they had behind the scenes making of clips. I hadn't seen the movie prior, so they way they handled the plot awas interesting. *big L fan* I'm just glad Near and Mello weren't there. ^_^

A friend of mine went and saw it and really liked it. I started watching it a while ago when I d'led it, but never finished it for some odd reason.
