Death NoteI have seen the full series and I loved it. Dark and twisted. Now I've got to watch the Live Action movies.
The question is, who's smarter, L or Light?
A friend of mine keeps recommending I see this. We should probably add this to the list to be shown at the meetings.
Sadly, I deleted the eps from my computer. >_<
DN has gotten so popular at cons!!
BTW I have all of these on my PC now.
Sadly, I deleted the eps from my computer. >_<
This is why you buy external HDD's and never delete anything....(and turn into a sad packrat like me) :P
lol, I don't collect. Gatchaman, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura are the only series that I've collected.
Cool I collect nothing now I had Love hina the Whole series but not Love Hina Again!!
I miss them so much!!
I like the Live Action Death Note Movie better than the anime or the manga. It is mostly because of how it ended. Not going into details, but the ending for the anime and manga seems to not really follow character, ya know what I mean?
Hmm... I dunno. I think the anime did. Don't know about the manga though. And I watched the first movie, but I can't remember it, lol.
Death note's great, i enjoyed the last episode, spewing blood everywhere to make up for a lot of not-violence.
It's surprising how quickly Light cracked under the death note, though!
And as for the twists, i haven't seen more on a rollercoaster!
Also, to Andromeda's first post, i think L's smarter, but Light got a cheap win in, which blew up his colossal ego even more.
I think they were about equally matched.
I'd have to agree, I think L is more intelligent. After all Light had all the puzzle pieces, and L was pretty much working on observation.
I also agree that Light got a cheap win. The damn supernatural coming after the real world. Low.
The live action seems to be coming out in September. I think it was the 7th. I might have been the 16th. That is when Netflix says that they will have it. The reason why I am confused is because they are finally getting the 6th disc of Full Metal Panic that same month and the games Spore and Warriors Orochi 2 comes out in September.
Ok, so i try to keep up with current popular animes. So it was between watching Narato... and its MILLIONS of episodes, or starting Death Note. Normally the title would have turned me off. (I'm not much into violent animes...) but i gave it a try.
Wow.
I really am enjoying it so far. I LOVE psychological plots! It has so many twists that it stays interesting, but doesn't get unreal. (some animes' have plot twists that make me mad b/c it's SO unrealistic to the story.)
I'm not done yet. And I'm resisting any spoilers. I have gut feeling that L is gonna die, but i really hope not. 0.o
