Favorite animes?
Every anime forum everywhere has at least 1 top 5 or so favorite animes ;) so what's everybody think? In no particular order... I'd say mine are: Now and Then, Here and There Neon Genesis Evangelion Jungle wa itsumo Hare nochi Guu (and all the sequals etc...) FLCL The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya There's plenty more... and I'm sure I'm forgetting one that's probably better than those...

FLCL The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya There's plenty more... and I'm sure I'm forgetting one that's probably better than those... I'd have to say all of the above are some of my favorites. My problem is that I've seen so damn many anime (about 260 series and counting), it's hard to choose a few. :P My tastes in anime change a little here and there over time, with me lately leaning towards anime I find to be over-the-top, some of which is even borderline offensive or downright creepy (especially the stuff that goes too lolicon). LOL. Maybe it means I'm a closet pervert, but I get a real kick out of having my own preconceptions poked fun at. My list of awesome anime I'm almost ashamed to have liked... :P Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan (so wrong it's RIGHT!!) Moetan (lolicon and a magical perverted duck!) Chocotto Sister Futari Ecchi Eiken Excel Saga Tsukuyomi Moon Phase Kite Koi Kaze Rizelmine Green Green (in it's several incarnations) Ai Mai Mi ! Strawberry Egg Pugyuru Majokko Tsukune Chan (not perverted...just insanely random) I could probably go on, but those are the biggies! Inasfar as all time favorite anime, it would probably come down to the series I've felt compelled to watch again and again. Fruits Basket Wallflower (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Hengi...it's almost *anti-FruitsBasket) Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki (my all time favorite series in the universe) Crest Of The Stars/Banner Of The Stars Love Hina Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer Witch Hunter Robin Onegai Teacher ....sigh....anime is my own personal drug. But, unlike crack, it doesn't make me want to pawn all my stuff and kill people. :P

Umm... gosh... wouldn't it be easier to list the ones I don't like? lol. Let's see, what I like... Sailor Moon, Saint Tail, Bastard!, Gantz, Gundam Wing, MS Gundam, Gatchaman, Voltron, Cardcaptor Sakura... these are a few of my favorite things!

Every time someone asks this question I end up with a different list of favorites! :)

then we'll just have to ask periodically for revised lists... I mostly like to ask so I can find new series that I might like. I still havent seen fruits basket... which I'd like to... and probably a bunch that both of you hve listed. I almost listed "Bastard!" - that was a cool/different anime.
