Game Developers Conference Well the Game Developers Conference is over, and Sony has unveiled plans for ingame advertizing for their upcoming PS3's Xbox live equivalent free online service. Sony's Ken Kutaragi also announced plans for a Digital Distribution Service, in which allows it's customers to download PS1 and PS2 games for the PS3. They've also announced a few games which include: Warhawk, Resistance, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, a next-gen singing game in the SongStar franchise, and (although only on video) even a brand new Ratchet & Clank game. They didn't leave out the current gen systems, since they've also announced God of war 2 for the PS2, and Loco roco for the PSP. Furthermore, they've also announced that the PS3 will not only be released worldwide, but that the system will be Region free, so everyone could play imports without having to deal with any modding techniques.
Nintendo announced today at the GDC that they've partnered with Sega and Hudsonsoft to allow over 1,000 of Sega games as well as TurbographX-16 games to be distributed through Nintendos online distribution service. Satoru Iwata has also made a surprising announcement, in which he unveiled Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS. The game will contain Wind Waker like Cel shading graphics, and will be developed by the same Creators of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Nintendo Gamecube. Sadly, they did not announce the true name for the Revolution, but hopefully they will keep that name.

Anyway, im freaking excited that Nintendo Made deals with Sega and Hudsonsoft. Especially Hudsonsoft, since alot, if not all their games are really fun. I'm looking forward to being able to play the original Bonk games on the Rev, as well as the Sega titles that will be up for grabs. :D
