Well, I didn't expect to find a forum... Hello! I go by Tad, and obviously, I'm new. Found it when I was desperately looking for anime conventions that take place in South Carolina (yeah, I'm optimistic sometimes) and thought it might be interesting to sign up. 23, live in the Charleston area. Most of my collection is manga, though I do have some anime. Current obsessions are Saiyuki, Kyou Kara Maoh, Full Metal Alchemist, Yami no Matsuei, and others. I'm very much a yaoi fan-girl, so consider that your warning. If its slashable, I will slash it. Never been to a con, never cosplayed, I love good roleplaying, and I write a bit of fanfiction. (Side note, anyone here on livejournal?) Nice to meet you, and I hope to have fun talking to y'all. :)

Woah! Another new member! Welcome to the forums. I've seen most of the anime for Kyou Kara Maoh, and it's pretty funny. I've enjoyed what I've watched so far. Although girls should be a little less yaoi, and a little more yuri :wink: Oh well, that's just a boy's fantasy heh heh. Oh, and apparently there are conventions in the South Carolina area, but sadly I didn't find this information out until it was to late, and thus I've missed them this year. I'll make an attempt to attend next year however.

haha I'm a bit of a yaoi fan myself. Gravitation!!!! As far as cons go, the coolest part of this group is that even though the ones for SC are few and well hidden, we do go to others around like in GA, NC, and FL. When you have ppl going to a convention it tends to make it easier (and cheaper) for other's to come too. I LOVE dressing up!!
