In The Process Of Building A Website....ideas?
You would think I already have enough on my hands running two other websites......so I went and decided to start another one.... This one is just a personal thing unlike the two commercial sites I co-own. It will be Anime, Manga, Gaming related. I'm already building it, but am still in the planning stage as far as content is concerned. I have it set to import news from several major anime portals (AnimeNewsNetwork, The Otaku, etc..) and I have a complete forum system already in place. My plans are as follows... 1). Have it be a single site people can come and get their anime/manga news, with trackback links to originating news sites 2). Implementing individual profiles, similar to, but nowhere near as ambitious as most social network sites..etc... 3). Forums....but I know from experience how HARD it is to get a forum going....I'll decide as I go whether or not to "give up" on that...I have a fully structued forum already in place, because they are simple to build.... 4). Advertising. I already have ad accounts with 5 major ad providers, but I'm probably going to limit the scope of advertising so as to not annoy people, and to just break even on my hosting costs. I guess at this point I'm just scoping out ideas to do more. If you have a particular favorite website or forum you know I can implement via RSS to import it's news, something in particular you'd like to see, etc....hit me up..
