Is it true? a club exists in Cola?
I have been looking around for a anime club recently and was very dissipointed cause I was not finding any. So does one really exist here in Columbia? or am I out of luck again? If there is one what age range is it? ie highschools, collage students, old foggies

Not that we are aware of. However, there have been a few people asking about anime groups in Columbia. So if there aren't any at all, i guess you should try spreading the word of South Carolina Anime, and try opening up a branch of it there.

Or rather he could get something started here. Have this Columbia section active. My girlfriend tells me the college has an anime club. I'll ask her more about it, and maybe get some information for you. I had heard there was one at USC as well, I searched there website and found a listing for them but the link to the anime clubs website did not work, so I tried emailing the contact that was listed. We will see what comes of that. Any other infomation thou would be welcomed! Oh and I am a she :D

actually, there is a club in columbia outside of the colege. I just joined, but i REALLY like it. We're called the Teen Otaku Association, so I don't know if you can join, its just teens. Anyway, we meet at the Richland County Library downtown from 5 to 7 pm. If you can, you should check it out.

The library here in Spartanburg has a teen club as well.

Hi, this is B-Chan, the founder/leader of the Teen Otaku Association of Columbia, SC. We welcome all teens to the Main Richland County Library in downtown Columbia. ANY TEEN, we don't care where you're from. We currently have about twenty members, and we're all a fun-loving group. We meet one night a week for two hours. We currently meet every week on Wednesdays from 5-7pm, in the Seminar Room of the Richland County's Main Library Children's section. Our day-of-the-week may change for the summer. We've been going since June of 2007, and there's no end in sight. We have food and drinks at every meeting. *I* don't pick the stuff we watch, *YOU* guys do. All shows/movies shown are previewed by club members. We are currently watching Slayers:Next, Comic Party, and Kaleido Star. All shows are rated PG-13 and lower, and as a special rule, we do not show any anime that has been on public television (i.e. Adult Swim, Fox, ABC, ect.) Come on down and join us!
