My names James Beard and I live way out in Easley. Judging from the dates on the receipts for my old genlock and LD player I just found, I would estimate I got sucked into anime at around '96-97 (not as long ago as I had originally thought)... I got the genlock (a tool used for subbing) and LD player so I could watch the early Sailor Moon episodes unbutchered by Bandai... I perfer more of the anime titles from around the early 80's to early 90's. Especially horror titles. My favorites right now are: Vampire Princess Miyu TV and OAVs, Mahoujin GuruGuru, Dream Hunter Rem, and Umi no Yami, Tsuki no Kage. Anime I hate with a passion include Ninja Scroll movie, that horrid Macross series where they powered their mechs with music or something like that, and MD Giest.
