Korean Manhwa Just started to dig into some korean graphic novels...Interesting I wonder what the manhwa part stands for...I suppose it means its a series of novels...
Anyway the ones I picked up were 11th Cat and Angel Dairy. 11th Cat was really cute. Some chick wanting to be a wizard ( which i think was incorrect? I mean aren't wizards guys? isn't it like a sorceress? I'd say wizardess but I don't think that's even a word...off subject...) Anyway she finds a magic cat guy ( guy with dark hair, clothes, a collar, and ears) whose suppose to be some guardian of the black wishing stone. Of course no one's made a wish on it so far (why go find something like that if you're not going to at least find out more about it)....Instead let's forget about the magic stone and try and resque some kidnapped princess. Then, naturally, get caught ourselves and stop there until next time.
The adventures a little week but it has some parts that have potental for for developing into better events later. What keeps me interested is the that some of the male characters know each other for some reason or another that's yet to be explained...the most intriguing of which is what might have been been between the cat guy and the black swordsman.

From wikipedia:Manhwa, in Korean, is a general term for comics and cartoons (including animated cartoons).

Angel Diary.... better than 11th cat, though 11th cat wasn't bad. There's a lot more going on here! For one thing the story has more purpose and the main character has more reason for going out and getting into trouble than our main character in 11th cat. To make the many pages of the first book short (so you can better decide if you want to spend the money and have less risk) Its about this chick whose the apparently the daughter of God (which here I have to laugh because from my christian background I think well what happened to his son?) And for some reason or another God has decided that his daughter should marry the Devil (Oo what a morbid father lol) From the best I can gather its to keep peace between heaven and hell. Of course our little heroine has better sence than to go to hell willingly. Therefore, she up and runs away to earth and disguises herself as a boy. And then comes the boundy on her head for any heavenly body to find and return her. To make matters even more fun she has an upper classmate who (as far as the book will currently lets us know) suspects her and she has a problem with ghost seaking her out and possessing her. I haven't developed a rating system yet but I think for now saying its pretty good should be enough.
