http://www.amphigory.com/special_effects_hairdye.html <-- use them if you ever do. They are the only dye company I'll recommend now. I've had a lot of trouble with stuff fading out far too fast or not working the way it says it should. My color is their Cupcake Pink....and the dye smelled like frosting. It was neat.

Andromeda: Oh god, don't get me started. In November, I spent upwards $100 trying to get my hair primary blue. I never did get it that color. It was a huge waste of money but at least I learned a lesson out of it as well as found something that does work (once I finally complained to an aquantence who linked me to that site). Special Effects is a dream come true.

I'm dying to use the darker green. I'd love to use the brigher shade, but I don't think work would like that. There was this stuff I used to get at Sally's that was with the regular hair dye that was purple and because my hair is so dark, it made it darker with added deep violet highlights. The few early grey strands added the neat lighter highlights. So I'm wondering if that green will do the same.. and what work would say... lol.

The good thing with Special Effects is they show a variety of different dye jobs so long as someone sends them pics with info about various hair stages and stuff. A few of them were donw on darker hair and it looked like it took pretty well and still showed up nicely (just a darker shade like the purple). I think you should differently give it a shot if nothing else.
And I know about problems with work too. >< Poo on them I say! "Normal" be damned! *shakes fist*
