South Carolina Anime Convention

I was recommended by s-sama to talk to you. the venue that she was referring to is actually a very good idea. it sits right of the interstate exit. and it can be reached from I-26,I-20, and I-77 so that means available travel from big places like charleston, spartunburg, alanta, agusta, and charlotte. any way please email me i will send you a pm with all my contact info. i would like to take any advice and suggestioins that you have.

please....no vic mignoga... after what he pulled, he's lucky funimation didnt kick him to the curb and made sure he never worked as a VA again. not to mention the guy is pretty shady, you should read some of the emails sometimes that he sent to brittney dvorak

really? i met vic at AWA. he seemed like a nice guy. anyways, i'm gonna ask Johnny Young Bosch if he wants to attend. he seems like a nice dude and it shouldn't be too hard to contact him. also, maybe have his band perform. that is if they don't ask for too much money. which is why fund raising and sponsorship for the con would be great. so we can afford the guests.

wel, I've no great ideas right off the bat here, but if there's something that I can do to help this idea get off the ground and rolling good, just let me know. if any ideas come up, I'll bring them up, but until then, I'm just an extra set of hands willing to do what is needed to get things going. I'm a might bit affraid that I'm going to miss my convention back home this year, so I'm hoping we can get one going here so that I'll be able to attend one somewhere.

OKAY. So. FIRST OFF. ABOUT THE VOICE ACTORS. 1. Vic is nice and all to his fans, but he's ALL ABOUT THEM. He's a sweetheart to us, but I've been told by my friend who was a VA Liaison at Metro that he can be difficult to keep tabs on. > 2. Johnny Young Bosch can be very conceited and an 'all about be' kind of guy - once again, hard to work with -- so I don't recommend EITHER of these VA's to be invited until a few years into the convention when we've made a name for ourselves and such. 3. Scott McNeil, who was the voice of Koga & Piccolo, amongst others, would be a good guy to ask to come, if anyone. I have heard nothing but good things about this guy, and he's very chill. H'ANNYWAY. SORRRY I haven't kept in contact since the Cracker Barrel meeting, but I don't have my own computer so I have to find time when my mom will let me use hers. I talked to one of my head managers at work and there's a chance that I can get a sponsorship from Chick-Fil-A for us, and ALSO this family who owns the Columbiana Mall's Gamestop. They're starting their own business, so the sponsorship is still up in the air, but I *did* ask. Do you know when the next meeting and such forth is?

Yeah, Vic is hard to keep tabs on. I remember at AWA last year, how he was kinda ticking off the staff. They could never find him on time, Travis was always on time (LOL). AWA even talked about not inviting him again this year. But of course they gave in and invited him. But, Vic always did make time to see his fans. I know it's early to try to invite such well known VA's to new CON. But, who's to say we can't try and ask. Oh well, sorry once again for not making it to the January meeting. My money is tight and I maybe moving to Atlanta soon to live with my Fiance'.
