Toonami: In Remberence Of It was just so sad. I wasn't aware it was going to happen, but I had luckily changed the channel over to Cartoon Network in preparation of watching Bleach this past Saturday. Caught the credits for whatever show had been on in the 10:30 (p.m.) Toonami timeslot. and then it happened. Toonami signed off for the last time.
Managed to combine two predictable ending scenarios as the Toonami robot flew off into the sunset and uttered his final word to us viewers, "Bang!".
So, Toonami has officially been axed by Cartoon Network. And all of the ongoing anime on AS, save for Bleach, has been shifted off into the most undesirable time slots AS has to offer. This is a truly sad sad time for us anime fans.
For me personally shows such as Robotech and Sailor Moon may have acted as the catalysts for my interest in anime, but Toonami truly ushered in my love for it. Farewell Toonami
I remember when I was a kid I would actually keep up with Toonami. That is a plus for me because I hardly watch TV. Whenever I watched TV, it was because some cartoon I like is on.
But 11 years....man, I feel old now...you youngsters don't know whatcha missing.

I remember watching a few animes on Toonami... Wow, i can't remember what ones except some Zatch Bell... Was that even Toonami?! I do recall that sometimes the choices weren't any good. =( The animated guy was pretty cool though. ^_^

I started watching Toonami when it first started airing. It had Voltron and Thundercats! But then I discovered... Sailor Moon!
