Vermillion Pleasure Nights Vermillion Pleasure Nights
Written by Andromeda
For those of you who enjoyed the hilarious antics of the mannequin family known as the Fuccons from The Fuccons (OH! Mikey), then you’ll enjoy where they got their start at, on Vermillion Pleasure Nights!
Vermillion Pleasure Nights is a late night variety comedy show comprised of short skit series that are quite bizarre. None of the skits make any sense and some are more bizarre than the others, but it’s all funny on some level. It’s much like the antics and nonsense of some comedy shoes such as The Benny Hill Show. It’s the funny nonsense stuff that you and your friends do when not impressing the opposite, or even the same, sex.
One skit series is “Juvenile Delinquent Takako”, the story of a headstrong human girl trapped in an OH! Mikey-like world of mannequins. Takako has run ins with bullies at school and adults who don’t trust or believe what she says. Speaking of OH! Mikey, you also get a complete alternate telling of the “OH! Mikey” stories.
One of the skit series’ that I like is “Dr Phero”. The first of the series of skits has two nurses with rather large syringes with long needles and three rear ends belonging to three faces of young women. With butts in the air, music begins playing and the nurses begin to poke the rear ends as they do their dance. With each poke, the faces either sing, moan or let out a cry of pain that acts like the lyrics of the song. Yes, it’s very strange, but very amusing at the same time. You can’t watch it and not laugh. I guess you can say it’s a very strange music video.
Another mention worthy skit series is “One Point English Lesson”, taught by an over-sexed teacher. She takes a simple phrase such as “You’re so good.” And shows you the proper and not proper way to use it, because you wouldn’t want to accidentally insult someone, now would you? By now I’m sure you can tell that this series is more adult orientated.
These are just a couple of the many skits done. There are space vixens, strange vixens, aliens in love who need help, women acting like mannequins and beating each other up, strange claymation and animation. The list goes on.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that this whole volume is rib tickling funny. There were a few skits that I found blah and left me holding a sign over my head with the three letters WTF on it. But that’s just me. Everyone’s humor is not the same. Obviously I enjoyed some of this series, some will enjoy more, and there are those few that won’t enjoy it at all.

Like I said, it's not for everyone. Though I did like the "One Point English" lesson where the phrase was. "I give good head." They go on using that changing some of the words. "I gave good head." "She gives good head." "He gives good head." "We give good head." "My parents give good head." "My grandmother gives good head." I busted out laughing when she said my grandmother.
