Watched/Watching: May 2009Seen so far this month:
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku - OVA series?
Cat-girl android... Don't get any wrong ideas, it's an action packed comedy.
And, finished watching
Magic Knight Rayearth: Season/Chapter 1. Can see why Andromeda said she liked it, a rather good series, well, season at least. Was quite happy that that story arc concluded so nicely in only twenty episodes seeing as I don't have season 2.
About to start on
Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit before bed.
I liked Nuku Nuku thought it was funny.
So Far I have watched:
Cutey Honey disk 1
Just finished gundress the movie
it was a snooze fest
I have Rayearth S2, but not S1. At least you can watch a season.
Finished watching the Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit: Special Collection (episodes 1 - 10) last night. Why there are only two episodes per disk is beyond me, but I really enjoyed it, good series. Looking forward to eventually seeing the rest of it.
About to start on Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid.
:? Finished watching Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid this morning. Plot and story flow went well, but it contains a rather heavy amount of disturbing violence. The villans were unquestionably villans from start to finish, though I still couldn't help but feel very sorry for all the abuse and mistreatment that the Xia sisters were made to go through.
 At long last, found, bought, and watched a copy of a movie I've been wanting to see for a couple of years now. But alas, its mystifying relevancey, or lack thereof, to anything tangible has managed to supercede that of End of Evangelion. What is the title of this baffling movie you may ask? Well, it's Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie. or as it would be more appropriately subtitled "Rebooted". It's a highly a condensed re-interpretation of the 39 episode series done in an 87 minute movie format. Unlike the series that left you wanting some form of continuation though, the movie just leaves you scratching your head and asking yourself "what just happened?". The convoluted plot and flow of this movie actually makes part B of the End of Evangelion seem perfectly sane and logical.
i just finished gunslinger girl which i think needed a better plot for it. all i can feel is sorry for the girls they fight until they die
Also finished kaiji which was was a stunning ending for me but i liked it
Firstly Red Garden odd, sad, but interesting
Second Baccano
great show i loved it but i wish i had more Firo in it
I'm working on keeping up w/ the new FMA anime... Been trying to dl it as it goes, but i'm ending up watching it on Hulu instead. it's 4 episodes in so far. *happy dance*
new FMA is 7 episodes in (8 sunday). So far its really good I'm looking forward to when the plot really starts to split.

Marathoned through Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure yesterday. Was great to finally see it in its entirety from start to end.
Hey dazdaz, I really liked Gunslinger Girl. Yes, it is a really tragic series, but I felt it was conveyed really well. Did feel that storywise it was, or could be, the tip of the iceberg to a much larger plot. And I guess that maybe so considering the sequel series, Gunslinger Girl: Teatrino, will begin DVD release here later this year. Won't have the same level of animation quality, but hopefully that won't detract from it.

Just finished watching Dominion Tank Police. :D
OMG, I thought the Revolutionary Girl Utena movie sucked big time. It left me with the WTF look going on for a while. It's as if some fan decided, "I want to do it this way!" and someone let him.
LoL! Yeah, it was a huge disappointment. On the plus side though it came with a second DVD disc that's got a trailer for nearly every Anime that CPM (Central Park Media) had liscensed back at that point in time.
