What conventions does this group plan to attend?
Just wondering what conventions this spring/summer/fall are any of you planning to attend?? So far I will probably be going to: Animazement (either Friday or Saturday; maybe both) ConCarolinas (not sure which day/s yet) Anime Mid Atlantic in Richmond VA (entire weekend) Otakon (Thurs-Sun) Anime Weekend Atlanta (maybe; Saturday only) Nekocon (Thurs-Mon; senior staff) Just wanted to meet some of you; since I live to far away to make any of your club meetings!

Simply Animazement. It was the closest one to me, however I've found out about a few more this year that are equally as close, and I might attempt to attend them next year.

Im planning to go to: Anime Next AWA (probably) Odds are that i wont be able to make it to either, but we'll see.

Well I will be at RoundCon (4-28 to 4-30) I hope to try and go to AWA as well this year.

Most likely hit ConCarolinas and definatly going to AWA

ConCarolinas Hopefully, AFO, depending on where I"m working Maybe.. and this is a big stretch, AWA. Man.. I so wanted to go to Jacon this year.. *pouts* They are doing another Animusical.

BodyOrgan, Are you and your friends interested in meeting up with me and my co-horts at Animazement? Let me know! I'll stop by the club table at ConCarolinas to chat with all of you who will be attending there. PS: I'm not a stalker or anything; I just like to meet with other fans who like to have intelligent conversations (something you just can't seem to do at anime cons anymore....you know it's bad when a large portion of Otakon's attendees last year were around 14yrs. old)

I'm traveling with my girlfriend, pinkrabbit, and her mother so to speak. We're probably going to be in seperate cars, but that's who I'm attending Animazement with. I don't speak for pinkrabbit, or her mother,so they'll have to get back to you on this as well. As for my girlfriend, and myself, we're fine with it. Do you have a particular time, and place you want to meet up? I've been to this convention several times now, so I'm familiar with the place.

Pinkrabbit's mom was trying to talk me into taking her place that weekend... lol. I'm sooooo tempted.

I'm attending the following: RoundCon Animazement Maybe DragonCon (I'm still iffy on it) AWA East Meets South and any other cons I can afford to go to with enough time to make up stuff to sell in artist alley I've got a few conventions that friends are going to all over the place that they are taking some of the stuff I make with them which makes me happy. It kills me that they all are going to AX and I can't afford to go, otherwise I'd be there. I was also going to go to ACEN next week but my trip to Chicago got cancelled. I'm disappointed in missing both. ;.;

Andromeda, you're more then welcome to take her place if you feel like. Assuming that's what pinkrabbit wants. I'll try to meet anyone who wants to meet me while at Animazement. I'm going to be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Also whoever comes bring your Nintendo DS's if you've got them. I really would like to play anyone in whatever games you or I might have. Oh, and that's cooperative or versus. ChibiShinigami, I think my girlfriend is going to want to meet you. She was asking me about your plushsie habbit the other day.

I'd be happy to meet her as well as yourself. ^^ As far as Animazement is concerned, I'll be hunkered down in the Artist Alley the whole weekend. I'm insanely easy to spot though. I'll still have the pink and black hair by then (or I'll be dressed as Reno from FF7 and sitting next to a Cloud cosplayer too). So if you guys want to come by and say hello, you'll know where to find me! =D

I usually hang out in artist's alley at AZ; the past few years have been kinda boring there; seen all the anime and the dealers' room sucks (that's cus the good dealers are at Fanime and Anime North that same weekend). Oh well! Two members of my anime club are going to ACEN; I've always wanted to go there and ACON in Texas. Friends who have been to both rave about how much fun and well run they both are. Maybe someday; for now I'll have to settle for Otakon... As for how to spot me at AZ; Friday I'll have my black Nekocon staff "pirate kitty" shirt on and Saturday I'll wear my black "Con Staph" shirt with the red biohazard logo. We could meet around lunch time (or whenever) in Artist's Alley.

Chibishinigami, are you still planning to be at Otakon?? Will you have an artist alley table? I'm still planning on going. To everyone who will be at Otakon: Be sure to stop by the Nekocon Booth in the Dealer's Room; I will be there most of the weekend. Stop by and chat a while. You can also pre-reg for Nekocon and purchase Neko Branded merchandise!
